Game of Thrones, Richard Madden, Doctor Who

I'm able to watch both Doctor Who (on the Sunday) and Game of Thrones (by the next weekend). I've just watched The Climb. I didn't watch the rabbit-skinning bit, but the sound effects were bad enough. I also turned the sound down and only watched the corner of the screen during the Theon scene. That was nasty, killing Ros like that. They'd better not show Joffrey shooting cats. The Blackfish is great. Of course, I wait for the scenes with Robb Stark and they're always too short.

I'm very pleased that Richard Madden has got the part of Prince Charming in Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella. It's quite a high-profile role and Kenneth Branagh's productions usually do well.

I'm rather disappointed with this Doctor Who season. I really wanted to like Jenna-Louise Coleman, especially because she's Richard Madden's girlfriend, but I just don't.

I'm glad you like Clara and that you think the episodes are a big improvement on last year. I don't dislike Clara; I just find her a bit blah and I really don't want any romance between her and the Doctor!

I wonder if Clara seems blah compared to Amy, who was a lot more fiesty and energetic. She might also seem blah because the writers are intentionally trying to keep her a mystery. As for any romance between her and the Doctor, I don't think they're planning to go in that direction. They already did the romance between Rose and the Tenth Doctor, not to mention Martha's unrequited feelings for the same Doctor.

*Smacks forehead* I just thought of a better reason why Clara and the Doctor shouldn't get romantically involved: he's married to River! I can't believe I forgot that. Well, actually, I can as I've been trying to block out the whole River Song plotline from the last series. *Clears throat* Anywaaaaaay, the Doctor would be committing adultery if he got involved with Clara...unless they're in a time where River is either dead or hasn't been born. Oh, man! That's not good! Umm...I'm sure that they won't get romantically involved for a reason I'm unable to identify. *g*

LOL!I completely forgot River Song! I also disliked that plotline and River soon got on my nerves.
