I've watched a few good things lately - Cinderella with Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden and Lily James was heart-warming, Song One with Anne Hathaway had some lovely urban folk music, Testament of Youth was heartbreaking, Flight of the Doves was seventies vintage with Jack Wild, Lake House with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reaves was intriguing, plus the recent Lady Chatterley's Lover with Holliday Grainger and Richard Madden, which was good and tastefully done.

When you say Testament of Youth was heart breaking, does that mean it has a sad ending? I hate sad endings. :(
I remember Lake House! I have it in my DVD collection and really should rewatch it ...
Lovely to hear from you! I know I owe you a reply, but RL seems to have exploded in the last couple of weeks and now with fall here I'll have more yard work. It never ends! :P Right now I'm actually looking forward to winter! LOL

Testament of Youth is about World War I so it is sad, but the ending isn't too sad.
I hope your RL has exploded in a good way? I'm just drowning at work so I tend to comfort myself by reading or watching stuff with my cats at home. My garden is full of exuberant spring weeds!

Hmm. I would say 50/50 exploded in a good way. I've actually gotten out and had some fun, but a lot of it is work around home that needs to be done in anticipation of winter. Ah, spring weeds, I definitely don't miss those! LOL
