I'm behind on fandoms. I'm really into Merlin now when most people have moved on to The Eagle, the Borgias, Camelot and will soon be seeing Game of Thrones.

I wish I was into Star Trek, but I'm not. I liked BBC Sherlock and White Collar, but not to the point of joining fandoms. Supernatural Season Five was disappointing for me, so I'm not anticipating Season Six with bated breath.

Of course, I don't get to see most of the shows at the same time as others because of where I live and our crappy TV channels. I could subscribe to satellite TV, but it's expensive and I'd rather save the money to travel! I know some shows are available later for downloading, but our service is too slow.

I'll just have to read other people's comments, reviews, etc. with envy, but I won't be able to comment.

I wouldn't worry about what everyone else is following at the moment. If you're into Merlin then you should just focus on that. I know there's quite a bit of fic out there and I'm sure there must be fandom communities. Speaking for myself, I tend to be pretty monogamous when it comes to fandoms. While I might be interested in a number of fandoms at the same time, I can only be actively involved with one. At the moment, that's BBC Sherlock.

You're right. I shouldn't worry about what others are following.

There are communities for Merlin, but they seem to be mostly for youngsters.

Most of the fic is slash. I do read slash, e.g., wincest, but I think it's inappropriate for Merlin. The show has an innocence which I don't want spoiled.

Im glad you have the BBC Sherlock to follow.

Enjoy what you're into and don't worry about other people. Merlin is always awesome! My love for it goes on and on.

I am ridiculous obsessed with the Eagle right now, I know. *sigh*

You're right - I shouldn't worry about other people. Thanks. I'm glad you're still keen on Merlin.

The Eagle has just come on the circuit here. I'm lazy about going to the cinema. I haven't even seen the King's Speech yet. Tut! Must make the effort.

Oh, Merlin is going to stay in my heart forever. It's one of those kinds of stories. *is sappy*

Hah, I am prejudiced in its favor, but I would suggest The Eagle before The King's Speech. *grin*
