A few of my favorite pics from The Inheritance. I think all of them have been posted elsewhere, except two.

I'm always glad to help, but then you already know that. :)

Yes, once I have the scaps, then I open them in Photoshop and proceed to play. And if you would like a tutoral feel free to ask. ♥

Those are really nice screenshots, Karen9, my favourite is actually #1. :)

Can I be cheeky and ask for a brief tutorial, Alisa? I have Photoshop, but don't know where to start. It's HoS's 8th birthday on 25th August (yes, we've been going 8 years though I only joined in 2006) - and I would like to try and do a FBS orientated picture for the other writers. I have lots of screencaps, and basically I'd like to meld RoS characters and photos of our own-creation characters together and make it all pretty...somehow. ;)

Hee. Yes you can be cheeky, but I'm going to need to know more about what you want. Do you have basic Photoshop knowledge? I did a very simplified tutorial where I took two separate caps of the Sheriff and Gisburne and turned them into a wallie Here. If you want to email me with a little more info I might be able to help. :D

Did you buy Photoshop or do you use freeware? I looked on the Internet and found the software available at an appallingly high price, but there was a free option. The latter requires Adobe Acrobat Flash Player, for which I also found a free download site. I'm a bit nervous about downloading from unknown sites, though.

I use Photoshop 7.0 but am lucky and didn't have to buy it. About 4 years ago a friend at work who used to do graphic design was nice enough to make a copy of the program and give it to me so that I didn't have to pay the exorbitant price. Of course, now that I'm addicted to it, if something ever happened and I lost the program I would grit my teeth and shell out the money!

I'm not sure about the free option you found. Is it just a trial version? I have heard that GIMP is a pretty good program that does alot of the same things and not only is it a legit site, it's freeware!
