Exterminate! Exterminate!

I've finally discovered the joys of Doctor Who! I was always nervous of not liking it - to not like such a great British institution would have been sad and a lapse in good taste. Besides, you can't hire the DVDs here, but I found I could stream them from my usual site. Anyway, I started watching backwards from Matt Smith's seasons. I like David Tennant, don't like Christopher Eccleston much, but Matt Smith is my favourite. He is a bit vulnerable and has more warmth, I think.Although the episodes have sad parts, generally they make me smile a lot. They're fun, eccentric and exciting.

I'm also watching the latest episodes of White Collar.

Woo hoo! Congratulations! It's fabulous that you've discovered the joys of Doctor Who! I hope you continue enjoying the show! :-D

I have to confess that I've only seen the first season of White Collar. I lost track of it on the one channel that was carrying the show. Considering how long it's been since I watched it, I should probably start at the beginning and rewatch the first season.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to the next season.

I just watched seasons two and three of White Collar on-line on http://www.tv-links.eu/tv-shows/. A few hosts are working.

Yay! Welcome to the Whovian world. :) I Aadore Matt Smith. He's a wonderful Doctor

White Collar is getting really exciting at the moment. It's like they feel they HAVE to end every single episode on a cliffhanger. *dies of waiting*

I've tried so deperately to like Doctor Who, it seems like it's got everything that I like in TV programme, but for some reason I just don't get it. And I've tried different Doctors.
We don't get White Collar but I know it's something a lot of LJ friends like. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to watch it on line.

I thought I wouldn't get it either. Maybe I was just in the right frame of mind at the right time.

I stream White Collar from http://www.tv-links.eu/tv-shows/. If the connection is good it doesn't take any more time than watching a DVD. I use the following hosts: putlocker, allmyvideos, vureel and gorillavid.

I've never really been able to get into Dr Who properly, except for the Captain Jack/John Barrowamn episodes (which I rewatched repeatedly, lol).

However, out of all the Drs in the 'modern' version, Matt Smith is my favourite, and I have watched most of his eps.

I like David Tennant in just about everything else I've seen him in, but for some reason can't really take to him as one of the Drs. Weird.

Hi! Good of you to pop in! I'm not receiving your lj entries on my Friends Page. Strange.

It seems that Dr. Who either clicks completely or not at all. I haven't seen any of the pre-2005 series.

I understand your watching the Captain Jack/John Barrowman episodes repeatedly - he's great!

I haven't seen David Tennant or Matt Smith in anything besides Dr. Who.

Hi! I haven't updated my LJ for a few months - I really should do something about that.

I haven't seen any pre-2005 Dr Who eps either; from tiny bits I have seen, it just looked awful - especially the 1960s eps.

I do have to thank modern-Who though for introducing me to John Barrowman - my S1 and S2 Torchwood DVDs have certainly had a workout!

Ironically, just as I got your message, Matt Smith was on my screen in another show (The Street, I think) - a lot younger and with a very different accent! :)
