Klondike

I've just watched all three episodes of the Disovery Channel's Klondike mini-series, chiefly because Richard Madden plays the lead. It's about a couple of friends from Vermont who join a gold rush in the Yukon. I think it's good, realistic and absorbing. There's awesome scenery and class acting. The last panel came as a shock though and leaves you sad.

Eek. I hate unhappy endings. How bad is it? I have this on my DVR and was going to watch it today, but now I'm not so sure. :/

It's not the ending as such, which is fine, but afterwards when there are panels telling you briefly what happens to the main characters later in life. I didn't burst into tears or feel miserable for the rest of the day!

Ah, well that's ok then. I'll save it to watch next weekend and just not watch the last panels. :)

I actually thought of you when I saw Klondike advertised on TV. I'm glad it was such an enjoyable series, even if the last panel came as a shock.
