Lughnasadh

Lughnasadh is one of the four main Celtic festivals, which marks the beginning of the harvest season. It is dedicated to Lugh of the Long Hand, one of the principle gods, with many talents.

 In Anglo Saxon culture the festival corresponds to Lammas.

Oh, cool! It's awesome what you can learn on LJ! :-) I don't think I'd heard of Lughnasadh or Lugh of the Long Hand before reading your post. If I had then I'd forgotten.
