It's about six weeks since I ordered Merlin Series Three from e-Bay. The Customs sharks are probably holding it to ransom! I wish they'd just send the damn ransom note so I can pay it! Grrrr!
So, being currently obsessed with Merlin, I'm playing Series 2 & 3 episodes over and over again. One of my favourites is The Lady of the Lake. The scenes between Merlin and Freya are touching. I always cry when she dies. I feel sorry for her as the cat beast as well, the way she cries when she's mortally wounded and the way she looks at Merlin.
Also, there are the funny parts with Merlin stealing Arthur's food. And the bonus of a bare-chested Bradley. A few inexpert screen caps ---
Handsome shield in the corner.
What are those scratches from?

Date: 2011-08-02 09:50 am (UTC)Hopefully your S3 DVDs arrived eventually and you've been enjoying them ever since.
S3 finished here on Sunday and the DVDs come out on Thursday. I'm debating whether ornot to buy them as the extras included on them here are generally about 1% of what is included on the UK versions, so I may order them off ebay from the UK instead. \I'll see what's listed on the box before I decide.
I just received S1 and S2 from UK ebay last week as I wanted all the extras that my original ones didn't have, not to mention I've lost one of the original discs and they are all a bit worse for wear after being watched so often, lol.

Date: 2011-08-03 01:36 pm (UTC)Pleased to have you! I don't have much up.
I have enjoyed series 3 for more than two months now and I've watched series 1 & 2 over and over as well.
Merlin is shown here on satellite TV only. It's generally not worth the fees, so I'll have to wait for the DVDs.

Date: 2011-08-06 07:35 am (UTC)3.13 only aired here 4 days before that so I was impressed at how quickly they released the DVDs. It was great having all the deleted scenes, bloopers etc on the discs this time; it's a first for our country.
I just have to find an online site now that will enable me to watch S4 within hours of it airing in the UK.

Date: 2011-08-06 08:14 am (UTC)Sorry, I wasn't clear - I bought the DVDs a couple of months ago from a local online supplier because I knew I wouldn't get to see it on TV.
I'll have to wait for the series 4 DVDs because our internet connections are too slow to watch episodes on online sites or on YouTube.
Enjoy the S3 DVDs! I think this is the first time the deleted scenes and bloopers have been included as well as the "Making of" stuff.
